Out of the basil from my garden to the homegrown tomatoes I made this delicious heirloom salad. It included buffalo milk mozzarella, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and salt & pepper.

It was delicious. okbye.

I’ve learned the hard way that I should not blog about work. But I’m going to make a list about my job because I can’t not.

- I had an exceptionally rewarding day at work today.
- I absolutely love my job.
- I think my boss is the best boss ever.
- My co-workers rule. Their talent is impressive.
- The projects I’m entrusted with are something to be proud of.
- The faith my boss has in me is overwhelming…in a good way.

I wish I could say more. I wish I could show you some of my awesome projects. I wish I could name names, brag about my accomplishments, and shout out my excitement for the world to hear.

But I can’t. This is the internet. And as much as I love it sometimes it can’t be trusted.

okbye.

How does your garden grow?

If you’re like me your garden grows fast! In just two months a tiny little sprout of a bell pepper has turned into a bountiful and proud pot of fruit. Please take a moment to check out the before and after pics. Actually it’s more like a before and during pic because the after hasn’t happened yet. The after will happen once these bad boys turn red.

okthanksbye.

To my friends and family I make jewelry. But what I really do is collect glass beads. Sometimes I make jewelry using said glass beads.

Here is a picture of my latest creations out of my favorite glass beads. I apologize for the quality of the image. Although I am a web developer and jewelry maker, I have yet to add photographer to my resume’.

I hope you enjoy my creations. okbye.

Technically I’ve been blogging since 2003. But because of various misadventures and site re-orgs I have deleted past blogs. Entire blogs. What a mistake. I never thought to import all that history of my life into my new blogs. I figured I’d wipe the slate clean and start anew…much like how I approach life.

I regret hitting that delete button in such a cavalier way. All those written memories of things past such as the Tenacious D concert, dining at the French Laundry, climbing the Mayan pyramids at Chitzen Itza, the Napa Valley Wine Auction, the heartaches, the elation, and all that is my life.

I want to delete the delete button. I hope I learn this time around.

How fascinating these guys are. Scurrying frantically after the tsunami known as “watering the lawn.” Scurrying frantically with their eggs.

I watered the lawn
Ants with their eggs frantic
Don’t find the kitchen

Locked Up Abroad

I’m hooked on this show Locked Up Abroad. I don’t like to admit I watch television. Not me, I’m too smart to get sucked in by all those TV gimmicks and propogandas. But Locked Up Abroad has me riveted. And I can sing it out loud because it’s a National Geographic show…therefore it’s “smart TV”. Each episode has me on the edge of my seat with my hand over my open mouth.

Here is the description from the National Geographic website:

“True stories of people who have ended up miles from home, in a foreign land in a situation beyond their worst nightmares. From travelers who fell foul of the law and found themselves behind bars, to an adventurer who strayed too far off the beaten track and found himself hostage, Locked Up Abroad tells their stories.”

You have to check it out.
